Coped Hall House stood opposite the Prince of Wales pub on what is now Coped Hall roundabout, Wootton Basset.

It was here that Edwin Hugh Edmonds (1856-1946), a successful manufacturer of agricultural equipment in Hook, moved his family in the first decade of the 20th century. He also relocated his workshops, building them behind the new family home. Although the house is long gone, some of the workshop buildings remain in 2024.

The fist photograph features a beautiful rose hedge.
