Drawing of Emily Charlotte Beauclerk by Henry Bone

A pencil drawing of Emily Charlotte "Mimie" Beauclerk (ne Ogilvie) (1778-1832), wife of Charles George Beauclerk, only son of Lady Diana (ne Spencer) and Topham Beauclerk and half brother to George Richard St.John, 3rd Viscount Bolingbroke.

The drawing, measuring 156 X 125mm is by Henry Bone after a portrait of Emily by Sir Thomas Lawrence. It is squared in ink for transfer and inscribed Mrs Beauclerk after Lawrence for Mr Ogilvie 1800. Bone was a popular copyist and a prolific painter of mostly enamel miniatures.
