East window, Lydiard Tregoze - before & after conservation, 2000

The East window of St. Mary's Lydiard Tregoze was vandalised in 1997 and partially boarded up prior to conservation.

See Items of Interest for a full set of photographs showing the conservation works in detail. The conservation was lead by President of the Friends of Lydiard Tregoz, Gerard Leighton, and described in his article The East Window of Lydiard Tregoze (Report no 35).

The conservation work was overseen by Dr Sebastian Strobl of Cathedral Studios at Canterbury alongside conservator Leonie Seliger.
