Collection of embroidered greeting cards dating from World War I (1914-1918). The cards belonged to the Titcombe family of Lydiard Tregoze. Ernest Titcombe fought in the war but it is not known whether these cards were sent by him.

Their patriotic and sentimental messages disguised the harsh reality of war but conveyed the sender's love for home and family.
