In Affectionate Remembrance of/George Ody/who died November 21st 1894,/Aged 78 Years./Also/Elizabeth Wife of/George Ody, of Wickfield./Who died October 1st 1877,/Aged 31 Years./Also in loving memory of/Dear Frank, their youngest/son, who fell asleep in Jesus/June 16th 1886, on board/”The Torrens”, Homeward Bound/Aged 22 Years./Whom the Lord Loveth He Chasteneth/Not gone from Memory/Not gone from Love/But gone to our Father’s Home above./Cold billows blow o’er the beautiful head/but sweet is the rest of the innocent dead./The love that we bore him shall live in each breast,/Till we meet him again in the realms of the blest.
