A fine marble monument to Henry St.John 1st Viscount Bolingbroke (d1751) and his second wife, Marie Claire de Marcilly (d1759), by the renowned French sculptor Louis-Francois Roubilac. The monument incorporates two beautifully carved cameos of the couple and epitaphs to both which were written by Bolingbroke himself.

The monument, as with other St.John family monuments, were retained from the old parish church at Battersea and incorporated in the new building which was opened in 1777.
