An affectionate photograph of Vernon Henry St.John, 6th Viscount Bolingbroke (1896-1974) and his companion Miss Catherine McLean outside the home they shared in Ringwood, Hampshire.
Catherine was particularly fond of cats. This one was called Perky.
The photograph was generously gifted to The Friends of Lydiard Park by a private donor in 2023.
