Photographs (3) - John Strange and motorbikes 1959-63

Three photographs of motorbike enthusiast John Strange of Cob Gutter, seen here with various bike models. John got his first motorbike aged thirteen and drove it all around the fields with his friends. One antic was to tie a rope to the bike dragging a piece of flattened out corrugated iron on which several of the boys would try and stand.

1st photograph: John with his 350 Royal Enfield Model C in 1959. John bought the x- military bike for £5. He was still at school at the time.

3rd photograph: Colour photograph of John on his Norton Dominator 600CC in 1964
