The Lydiard at War exhibition was staged at Lydiard House to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of World War I. It includes information on the service careers of Lydiard Tregoze men from both ends of the social spectrum, pointing to the unifying and shared experiences of The Great War.

The wartime stories of the three St.John brothers of Lydiard Park - Henry, Charles and Vernon is told alongside those of local men - Algernon, Snowden and Gordon Love; Stanley and Ernest Painter; Reginald and Ernest Skull.
