Nash made this drawing on August 6th 1801. It shows the monument to Captain Edward St.John (d. 1645) at St. Mary's Lydiard Tregoze.

Frederick Nash was an architectural draughtsman, watercolourist, and publisher. He collaborated with the antiquary John Britton between 1801 and 1809.
