The black and white photographs show the thirteenth-century figure of Christ which can be found on the western-most pillar of the south side of the nave. When the photograph was taken in 1961 the painting was protected by glass, which is no longer considered appropriate in conservation terms.
The photograph was used on page 26 of the 1960s' Lydiard Park Guidebook, entitled 'The Resurrection of Christ'.
