Edwin Hugh Edmonds (1856-1946) was baptised at St. Mary's Lydiard Tregoze on 2nd March 1856. He was the grandson of Jacob Edmonds and Charlotte Edmonds nee Beasant. He became a successful agricultural Engineer with workshops on Hook Street.
