Elliot Woolford, farmer, held the tenancy of Hook Farm on the Bolingbroke estate until 1930 when he purchased the property from Lady Bolingbroke. Seen here as an elderly gentleman, Elliot Woolford is chiefly remembered for the meticulous diaries he kept throughout his adult life.
