This picture was taken for the Swindon Link magazine on the 30th June 1995 to mark a visit by The Bishop of Swindon, Michael Doe, to the St. Mary's Church Flower Festival. Congregation members Joan Rumming (left) and Marie Hanna can be seen standing next to the Bishop, beside a display celebrating David Crowned King.

Floral arrangements throughout the building were created by members of the church together with displays from five local primary schools on the theme of David and Solomon. The Flower Festival was complimented by a concert in the Church and a Saturday afternoon summer fair. Over £2,000 was raised for church funds.
