This snapshot of Frank Rumming of Park Farm, Lydiard Tregoze and Vernon St.John, 6th Viscount Bolingbroke, was taken at Longleat, probably in the 1930's, suggesting the two men were friends as well as neighbours.

The Rumming family rented their farm from the Bolingbroke estate, purchasing it in 1940 following the death of Lady Bolingbroke.
