The 17th century Royal Coat of Arms is shown being removed to the workshop of specialist building contractor Owlsworth IJP of Reading for repairs to the woodwork. followed by conservation of the polychromy by Jane Rutherfoord & Associates, undertaken in the church building in 2019.
The works formed part of the St. Mary's Conservation Project grant funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, The Friends of Lydiard Park and other donors.
