The letter from the office of The Lord Lieutenant of Swindon, officially invites Cllr Maurice Fanning, Mayor of Swindon, to attend the Queen's visit to Swindon on November 7th 1997. It includes a schedule of Her Majesty's visit to the Brunel Centre and Lydiard Park and a seating plan with guest lists for the luncheon at Lydiard Park.

Lunch was held on the first floor of Lydiard House following an informal reception in the State Rooms.
