Photographs recording renovations within St .Mary's Church carried out by specialist historic buildings contractor, Ellis & Co. The works were part of the wider St. Mary's Church Conservation Project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, The Friends of Lydiard Park and other donors.

Following repairs to the roof in 2019, Ellis & Co repaired stone floors and oak pews, lowed the font, installed pipework for a new heating system and refitted the vestry to enable the south porch to be made accessible to the public.

The space created in the west entrance of the church by the removal of inferior woodwork allowed for the installation of a new bookcase and interpretation area.
