The People's Park

Croquet at Lydiard Park, c1980s

Swindon Croquet Club was founded in 1985 with Lydiard Park as their home ground. The pitch was located directly in front of the house and competitions with other regional clubs were played here. The club relocated to the town in the 1990's.
