A research paper on Reuben Henry Newman (1897-1916) by local research genealogist Sheridan Parsons, B A Hons., adapted for St. Mary's Church Lydiard Tregoze, 2018.

Parsons traces Reuben's family background in Lydiard Tregoze, his working as a farm labourer age 13yrs and enlisting to fight in World War I in 1915 as a gunner. She follows his army career with the Royal Warwickshires Regiment from Gallipoli to France, where he was reported missing and presumed dead on 3rd September 1916 age 19yrs.

The paper also mentions Reuben's medals, commemorations and a note on his three Newman uncles who also fought.
