On her visit to Lydiard Park in November 1997, the Queen was invited to sign a Visitor Page by Gerard Leighton, President of the Friends of Lydiard Tregoze.

This took place in the Library following a tour of the State Rooms with Keeper of the House, Sarah Finch-Crisp.
