The Service Record of Captain Henry Mildmay St.John (1892-1957), eldest son of Henry 5th Viscount Bolingbroke and Mary Howard, later Viscountess Bolingbroke.

Henry who had previously served with the Gloucestershire Regiment was automatically called up at the outbreak of World War I; this second commission began on 26th November 1914 after which he was quickly promoted to the rank of Captain He served and was seriously wounded during the Gallipoli Campaign in 2015, evacuated to England where he convalesced for over a year before resuming service in the UK.
