The Hall, Lydiard House by George Campbell Tinning, c1951

A painting of the main Hall of Lydiard House by Canadian war artist George Campbell Tinning. The painting was made in c1951 to illustrate an article by Aldous Huxley 'A Tour through Time' in the Ford Motor Company Journal. This painting did not feature in the final article.

This picture and one of the Dining Room was acquired, conserved and framed by Lydiard House in 2012, with support from The Friends of Lydiard Park.
