Photograph of Private Bill Gough

Bill Gough, son of Harry and Phyllis Gough in army uniform outside the family home in Lydiard Millicent. Bill was killed in Thailand during World War II in October 1943. His father was to become the caretaker of Lydiard House in 1944.
