Springtime at Moorhayes in Hampshire, the home Vernon St.John, 6th Viscount Bolingbroke (1896-1974), shared with his companion, Miss Catherine McLean. The photo records a visit by Catherine's family in the 1960's.

Catherine is pictured on the right in a red jumper and her sister Mary McCorquodale on the far left of the group. Their sister-in-law, Sheila McLean stands between them. Mary's daughter, Catherine (known as Anne), is in front.

The photograph was generously gifted to The Friends of Lydiard Park by Anne Barr (ne McCorquodale) in 2023.
